Jay Graham to FSU (merged)

Hard for the head coach to coach qb's and run the offense. Maybe CJF can make it work, with the help of two Volunteers that is.

that it is. One of the largest criticisms of Jimbo is that he micromanages too much. As a result, things slip through the cracks on gameday because he's calling the plays, coaching up the QB and (mis)managing the clock/game. Not to mention his son was diagnosed with a serious illness, so he had a lot on his plate at home and work.

It will be interesting to see if he delegates more now that the new staff is in place.

Wow! Can't believe the Graham bashing. He gave his best to our Univ., improved our RB's, kept the '13 class together during transition, while helping sign some of the best talent in this class. Cannot fault him for doing what was/is best for him and his family. He's VFL, and welcome anytime. IMO.

Kiffin did the exact same thing, and even stayed here longer than Graham. Is he welcome back anytime too?

saw this in the recruiting forum. Graham is still a VFL, in my book:

“Coach Gillespie actually offered me when he was at West Virginia,” Paulk told InsideTennessee. “We have known each other for a while. As soon as he got to Tennessee we were talking on Facebook. He has been messaging me on there and talking about how excited he is about Tennessee. I am probably going to call him soon.”

"I have Tennessee as my favorite right now," Paulk told Scout on Wednesday.

“Tennessee has been recruiting me a lot,” he said. “I have gotten letters from every coach on staff there. Coach Graham even called me when he was leaving and said they would get someone in there who was a good coach. He told me not to worry.”
