Jay-Z going to the UK games

I love the fact that when someone disagrees with you, or a couple of other UT fans, they're a TROLL. :eek:lol:

As for picking when I reply. Forgive me for being so frank, but some of your replies are just too unintelligent to respond to.

I suggested that said celebrities might be associates of Calipari more than they are "fans" of UK hoops, and you went on a stupid rant that I think Calipari is paying them (which I never said). I then called you out on your stupid rant, and you refused to reply.

And, now you want to suggest that my posts are unintelligible.

You have absolutely no credibility on this board from anyone who has read at least 5 of your posts.

If you were a rival fan on any UK board, you would have been banned a month ago.

I agree with the statement. But still, opinions should be looked at without immediate bias.

If the first post I read was the UT fan who used the your-state-is-full-of-rednecks line, I'd agree with you. But, in this case, I think that poster was putting one individual poster in his place more than an entire state.

And you sir, have to be one of the biggest jerks on this board. Take off the orange sunglasses and see beyond your bulging beer belly blinding your view.

Alliteration ftw!

You can get lost too. Hardwood is the only good kentucky fan on this site. You act like we should fing thank you for coming to VN to pat your coach on the back.

Weird...we are four pages into this thread an no one mentions how important it is that Jay-Z is at the UK game for the UK players...

This is quite a bit more significant than another rapper just attending a college game.

You do realize that Jay-Z is one of the three owners of the Brooklyn Nets, right?

Well, just like any small minded man...you only want to believe in the good things.

Want me to post the link or are you going to debate whether Sport Illustrated or any other big name sporting news is a reliable source?

You have made things up before to support your argument, so why should anyone believe you now?

You posted that no one on College of Charleston's roster was a star in high school, that none of them were heavily recruited, and that all of them have less talent than McBee. And, you said it in all seriousness. That was during one of your trolling rants on Cuonzo Martin.

So, I am not going to believe anything you tell us unless you back it up with a link. If you provide a link to an SI or Sporting News story about Coach Knight showing his poop to his players, I will, gasp, read about Knight's crap.

A cheater? Cal didnt cheat, his 2 players did. Bruce Pearl had a few of his players arrested with weapons and drugs in the car, would it be fair to call Pearl a thug with guns and weapons just because his players were caught with them? Its easy for people to call Cal a cheater because it makes them sleep better at night. Facts are facts, and if you would do a little research you'd learn that he had no wrongdoings. Yeah...its Cal's fault a high school kid cheated on a test 600 miles away in the middle of the season.

As for him not winning any titles, he's only completed 2 seasons so far and both were pretty close. You'd be an idiot to say he'd never win one.

It was also obvious from the evidence that Bledsoe's grades were enhanced in high school to make him eligible.
I am in no way accusing Calipari of influencing that high school. My point is simply that rule breaking seems to follow Calipari wherever he goes. He just knows how to insulate himself and keep himself ahead of the NCAA.

Two schools he coached have gone on probation because of activities that happened during his tenure. I know...he didn't know anything.

Don't pay any attention to how the sausage is being made, and you'll be fine.

Yes, I posted that College of Charlestons players were not high school stars. That they werent recruited by big name colleges coming out of high school. McBee was. So whats the issue?

You're a funny guy, you could spend 2 hours a day complaining why the sun sets in the west. Take a deep breath and try and relax.

You can poke and pry at every program in America about some sort of issue, but lets keep this simple. Either someone is guilty, or not guilty. Cal is not guilty. He's never been proven guilty. And the whole Bledsoe transcript deal came and went. A story broke last summer about Anthony Davis being paid to attend UK, it was all fabricated with no details. Its all based from hate and aggravation from Cal getting recruits easily after the opposing coach has worked on them for years.

Hilarious! Hardwood is the only fan of a opposing school that sides with UT on every subject. The man hasnt said anything positive about UK in the entire year I've been here. Only "good" fan, I wonder why? :lolabove:

I was just thinking the same thing, 4 pages deep we're completely off subject.

Yes, Jay-Z is part of owner of the Nets. I could be wrong, but I dont think he's in town evaluating talent. I think he's a fan of UK. He was seen wearing a UK jersey in one of his concerts back in the Tubby era, and he told a UK reporter last weekend that he's a huge UK fan.

I suggested that these celebs you are calling KY fans may only be following Calipari around.

I didn't see them having beers with Gillispie after the game. It's Cal, and only Cal. LeBron was friends with Cal while still at Memphis.

Don't feed the trolls.

Everything bolded is not true. That's the issue.

No offense to hardwood, but I am a realist. I am not an optimist who blows off subjects just to cause no trouble. I will say it like it is. I will not pretend to be dismissive of UK. I am honest when I say I dont care for UT a lot. Not even close to UK.

If I get attacked because of that...then so be it. But I have taken your points and considered them. If you had any intelligence you would do the same.

Amen. I refuse to be like Hardwood. I will not sugarcoat the issues just to be accepted.

I'm confused. I thought realists tell it like it is, and optimists look for the best.

I have some cousins who went there and loved it. The generation before them went to LexCath, so it created a friendly rivalry within the family when they went to Dunbar.

I don't sugarcoat anything hoss. I tell it like it is, whether it suits anyone's blue goggled scope or not. I watched you come in with a UK and a UT icon, then when someone held your feet to the fire you changed them and jumped to UK's side. If thats the case, and your a UK fan great, but I have watched you try to straddle both sides several times.

I graded you out as average, at least having some sense of rationale behind your thinking, I hope you keep some of that. All I can say for Smails is that a village is missing their idiot, and they couldn't be happier about it. Hopefully you're smarter than to align yourself with such a nozzle.
