In 2013 we had the #3 class, in 2014 the #6 class, in 2016 the #13 class...how can anyone say our problems are due to lack of talent? I'm pulling for Holley to figure it out. I don't want to see her fired, but saying our issues are talent based simply lacks logic. With those classes, there's no way we should be unranked. Player development has been poor

Actually, no I'm not. I was simply asking how we are doing so well. Have we hired someone new that is making this big of a difference? We go from 0 commits last yr to the #1 class. What has changed? Not trying to stir the pot, I'm not that type. Was a simple question

She is playing in the Music City Classic T White Creek High Schooll at 11 AM tomorrow! Monday MLK day... they play Memphis Central.

She is a point guard with good skills. Head always up and looking down court! Can take it to the goal when needed. Nice shooting touch. HOWEVER,,,
Elizabeth Balugun is more aggressive and is their main defensive player... she also is a good guard and they make a formidable pair to deal with! Jasmine is always looking for Elizabeth and will give her 4-5 assist a game!!! Like to see both of them in Orange👍
There other guard (Treasure Hunt) is egual if not better than both of them and she is just a Freshman!!!! We have already offered her as well!
Their center Cordosa is a Freshman also but at 6'6" she has some work to do. But at least she does not bring the ball down and let smaller players tie her up! Like MR. She has a nice touch about 5 to 7 feet around basket and as I have said she already keeps the ball up. Needs work on foul shots and moving her feet for better defense. She runs better than MR but has a little loap in her stride. Needs upper body strength! Ohio and Western Ky have offered! If we could get Treasure and Cordosa in 2020? WOW!?!

All of this being said: glad to have Jasmine but anyone in this program would be a good get JMO🤔

You do realize that Holly cant coach right? Talent isn't the problem. Unreal that people still think that there is no talent and Holly can coach. The kids she is coaching now play like they have no clue and she coaches like she has no clue.

If our current players where shooting 45 percent every game as a team we would have about two losses and the rest would be wins. These current players can't make 8 to 10 foot shots or wide open threes. They shoot a lot of air balls almost every game. So if we get some players that can make shots and shoot a decent percentage we will win more. We'll probably still lose some games we shouldn't because of in game coaching decisions but we'll still be a lot better than we are now just simply because we have players that can make shots.

Great, this forum has managed to take a welcome thread and turn it into a program bashing thread. Why don't you just welcome the young lady who has made one of the most important decisions in her life and take the poor mouthing to any one of a number of other threads dedicated to bashing Holly. I'm grateful she decided to join the Lady Vols. Can you imagine what she might be thinking as she reads this post so see how enthusiastic fans are to see her join the program? She is a great get and someone who will be dedicating the next four years of her life playing basketball for the Lady Vols.

If you read this forum Jasmine, understand that it is just a place for opinionated wannabes and expert never-was like me to relive the joys of youth. A place where we can revel in the accomplishments of our heroes and enjoy the vanquishing of our foes. We are demanding, childish, bigoted, sometimes even wrong. ;)

We will laugh with you , cry with you, love you and hate you in the space of a few posts.

All we ask is Perfection, that's not so much, eh?

It takes strength to be a athlete, it takes courage, determination and willpower to wear the Orange of Tennessee. It takes the wisdom of Solomon to read here in this forum and figure out who's the troll and who's just a nut.

My advice, just remember who we are who post here, and laugh with us, at us, or cuss us as you so desire.

We need some dominant inside girls. Guards have not been Holly's problem. Seems like all she gets is high ranked guards.

She gets high ranked guards, but they don't develop. Reynolds and Middleton are both upperclassmen, and should be better than they are.

With Cooper and Carter last year, they had 4 5-star guards, four of whom were McD AAs and one was the MVP of that game.

Massengill is a welcome addition as Carter, Reynolds and Middleton will all be gone, and she will add depth at that position, but Tennessee has never been a program that has given the green light to their PG to be an offensive threat. Hopefully that changes...

Correct, she is a horrendous coach. They can't score, turn the ball over too much, and can't rebound. Adding guards isn't going to change the fact they can't rebound or play defense

I realize that our depth issue will (& should in many ways) be placed on the coaching staff, but having depth will help in several obvious ways. I am not listing them because I do not feel the need.

Please stay away from this site if you lack thick skin and have no tolerance for morons, idiots, and imbeciles like me who stalk this board looking for opportunities to bash this coaching staff on a daily basis!
