247Sports Take: Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports is hearing that Jeff Brohm will be recruiting for the Boilermakers in the Chicago suburbs today, a day after he met with Louisville athletics director Vince Tyra about the opening at his alma mater.
Brohm has kept his recruiting schedule despite the speculation that he could be leaving Purdue for Louisville – he was in Texas on Monday, for instance. A source within the Purdue program said that it's business as usual, noting bowl practice begins next week.
An important caveat here, of course, is the fluidity of the situation and the certainty that Brohm has not told Louisville "yes" or "no" yet.
-247RUMOR: BROHM STILL IN WEST LAFAYETTE (11/28: 8:42 A.M. CT)
247Sports Take: A source tells Steve Wiltfong that Jeff Brohm is still in West Lafayette as of this timestamp; recruiting plans had Brohm slated to be in Chicago on Wednesday. Purdue co-OC/QBs coach Brian Brohm was in Chicago on Tuesday, the same day Jeff met with Louisville athletics director Vince Tyra about the Cardinals' opening.
All indications are that a decision on Brohm's behalf could come Wednesday, and multiple sources say he's torn.
If Clemson wasn't a national championship contender why would Bama want him?Why would Dabo leave a job where he's building/built a dynasty to take over for a man who built a dynasty? If he keeps his record up over the next few years, he'll be able to specify his statue height in front of Clemson Memorial Stadium.
If Clemson wasn't a national championship contender for the past five years, I'd likely agree with you. But otherwise, reality says he has no reason to leave what he's built.
Lol, sure they can. And why would he.....is that a serious question?
