Jeff Gordon continues to.................

It's not like Gordon is a lot older than Stewart. Stewart has been around since 1999.
Yeah but he's not been in NASCAR Nextel Cup as long as Gordon has.....I never said Gordon wasn't a good driver because he didn't just luck into 4 Championships.....JMO, but he's not as good as Stewart...If Stewart had the kind of equipment to work with every weekend that Gordon has then he'd be TOUGHER to beat every weekend than he already is....How long as Gordon been in NASCAR? Almost like 15- 16 years now? It's been quite a while

Stewart's rookie year was 1999. Gordon's first full season was 1993.

OK, so that's a little over 14 years now....I'm just saying give Stewart time and he'll have himself 2-3 more Championships.....Jeffy may get #5 this year, who knows? He's on pace to do it right now but its still a long season....Anyone can do it

Either Driver Can Sit In Most Racecars And Win With Them.
No doubt that either could hop into the other one's car and win races but I'm just saying more or less that Gordon and anyone else that races for the Hendrick Organization has the best equipment on the track, that evident from week to week and if Stewart had that kind of resources at Gibbs(don't get me wrong, he's got good equipment but not as good)he'd have as many Championships as Gordon has now....JMO

How do you figure thats trash talking?? I'm not downing Jeffy Poo, god knows I hate him but I'm not saying he don't know how to drive a race car, it's JMO that Stewart is a better driver than he is

I understand what you are saying and I agree with you. Jeffy is a good driver, but he is no where near as good as Stewart. Stewart can drive ANYTHING, Jeffy is limited to what he can drive.

When you can take some time away from worshipping Jeffy, look up both of their racing backgrounds and compare what they have both raced in. Stewart is far more talented in a racecar than Jeffy.

Fast and best are not always the same. TS is fast and aggressive but not always the smartest racer out there.

Bobby Rahal Jr. was never viewed as "fast" but he was often the best. He managed races and was as fast or faster than others when it mattered. His fastest laps of the race were often his last laps.

Contrast that with Paul Tracey. Definitely fast but just can't manage a race worth a lick.

I'd say JG is better at managing a race than TS. TS can make up for it with aggressiveness. In the end, it would be hard to argue one is better than the other.

Jeff grew up racing quarter midjets like me, which his grandfather paid for. He also was very successfull in World of Outlaws. He is very good on a road coarse. Where is he weak or not as good?

I would agree with that. The end of the Phoenix race was fun to watch. The 3 wide pass that TS made to take the lead near the end of the race was incredible.

He gets weak in the knees when listening to Elton John

Jeff Gordon won championships in USAC... when he was a teenager. I have no doubt if he would've applied himself further in other forms of racing, he would've succeeded there as well.

Dale Earnhardt didn't do anything outside of NASCAR. I guess he's just a good driver, too.
