Three time Winston Cup Champion Darrell Waltrip made some interesting comments on sportsline television today.
He said Toyota employs 350,000. They lead in car sales in the United States.

When asked who would win the Daytona 500, he said Jeff Gordon. He also said Jeff Gordon was the MVP of Nascar.Just look at his records.

Darrell said jokingly, Jeff Gordon had a bad year last year, he won 4 races, but he had a bad year.

He also said Jeff Gordon was like Tiger Woods.Tiger can win on an off day when he&#39;s not playing well.Jeff could win a race when he doesn&#39;t have a good car.



I respect Darrell even more now.

I&#39;m sure I&#39;ll hear from at least one or two red neck girls and one or two redneck guys. :dunno:

I admit he has not been the same JG as of late. I don&#39;t think Earnhardt hated him either.My brother in law was a huge fan of Earnhardt Sr. and I never heard him say that Sr hated JG.
I need you to cite me the sources on that CBC. You might hate JG, Earnhardt Sr , no way.He had too much class for that.

Earnhardt didn&#39;t hate DW too much I&#39;d guess... DE chose DW to drive the #1 car when Steve Park about got killed the first time back in 1998.

i didnt say sr hated gordon i said he hated waltrip. at least he did most of the 80s. they kind of became friends in the latter years. but they werent best friends.

I just want to make one thing clear ahead of time. I will be putting Jeffy down every chance I get this year. I cannot stand him, his car owner, the look of his car, etc. Keep in mind that when I do, it is never a personal insult towards Jeffy fans. I think putting down a fan of a driver is crossing the line. Everyone has their reason for having a favorite driver.

Example: Sometimes Dale Jr. has a hard time getting his words out when he is interviewed because he is shy. I have seen him called Boomhower (from King of the Hill) because of that. I actually think it&#39;s funny. Since I don&#39;t have that same problem, I don&#39;t take it personally. So..... if I call Jeffy a flamer, you shouldn&#39;t take it personally unless......well.....nevermind. :biggrin2:

It&#39;s all in fun. I&#39;m just trying to defend my driver.I really don&#39;t mean to offend anyone&#33; :angel: Honestly.
I know alot of people either hate or love JG. No in betweens.
