Trump had substantially greater motive and opportunity here than did Clinton. That is simply undeniable.

Personally, I don't think anyone acted to kill the guy or to allow suicide. Sounds to me like mismanagement of Epstein's situation by prison officials and perhaps an incompetent mental health evaluator who took him off suicide watch. But there is just as much evidence that Trump caused it as did Clinton, i.e. zero.

He should not have been able to hang himself. It's ridiculous that he had the opportunity to escape accountability from our system of justice. Now, having said that, I'm not sure that I've ever seen a more logical candidate for suicide than this guy. He was a billionaire with no immediate family members (never married, no kids) with very few people who would now claim him as a friend, and who was facing the likelihood of spending the rest of his days in administrative segregation (23 hours a day in a cell) after a lifetime (he was 66) of luxury and privilege, including both a Manhattan mansion and his own private island in the Virgin Islands? The only question is why he was allowed to do it... there should be no question as to why he wanted to.

The arguments (from both sides) treating this like a professional "hit" are embarrassingly stupid.
