This kid is a freaking stud! Whoever lands him is going to be lucky. He is the real deal and no doubt the best LB prospect in the class. UT will have to make up a lot of ground though.

IF we can get him we'll be set for a while at LB with him and Askew. Couple those two with Donald in two years. That would equal the most athletic trio of LBs in school history. But that's wishful thinking.

Coach O is officially employed now, right? If so and according to his book "meat market" than he is already in contact with these guys now.

That story on KNS really sounded good. We may actually have a shot with him. Just as long as he gives Lane, and especially Monte and O, a chance to talk to him, I would say we have a BIG chance at landing him. That's the big thing for us now...you can NEVER count out our coaching staff when it comes to ANY recruit.

Just saw an article about him on a site out of Orlando. He was talking about visiting Penn State and trying to set something up with Miami. Really didn't mention any other schools in his direct quotes. I have always had the feeling he might end up at Penn State. Who really knows at this point though.

UPDATE

Apparently Jelani Jenkins is a long shot to land with us, but we do have a shot. He is apparently very intrigued by our new staff (Monte and Orgy) and I heard that they actually might have contacted him today.
