Jeremy Pruitt future DC at Bama....

Pruitt has an impeccable record as a DC. He is a very incompetent head coach and manager, but he would be an excellent DC hire for whoever got him. Him going to Bama would be an instant upgrade for Saban over Pete. He would be welcomed back with open arms.

His impeccable record as a D coord was mostly at Bama and UGA both of which were pretty successful before and after his time so how much was really him? And his one season at FSU was before the bottom fell out of that program so again, while he may be a good coordinator, he didn't take a bunch of walk-ons at MTSU and turn them into the college version of the Steel Curtain.

Given he has 18 major violations most of which he and his wife directly participated in, he should get one of the longest show causes ever handed out maybe close to a decade. After all Tyndall got 10 years for his paying players at Southern Miss.

Then with his attempted blackmail of UT to get his buyout, could any program really trust him enough to hire him?

I for one am waiting for his book to come out. He obviously should detail his days at UGA and Bama if he’s doing a true “tell all”
