I am not a lawyer or anything close to one, but it seems to me that a matter of fact statement that Tennessee conspired against him would open him up for a slander/liable lawsuit. If he didn't have definite proof. Maybe one of you could set me straight on that.

He filed the case in Alabama but that court has no standing. NCAA is in Indiana & Tennessee was where he was employed & where violations occurred. Case will be moved & he’ll get his ass kicked. Someone took this case on a flyer cause I don’t see it going too far. Last “Hail Mary” to get Show Cause removed?

That's funny considering how neutered the NCAA is now. Giving ANY school the death penalty at this point in time would effectively destroy them. Students would be lining up to sue them for causing harm to their NIL chances, among many other issues.

We’ve already been investigated, judged and punished for his time here by the NCAA. So anything he says that is different from what he stated to the NCAA at the time of the investigation would further go down as evidence he committed, and now lied about, serious infractions.

Heck, this could go south for him real quick and see him get another show cause for lying to the NCAA.

Brother, this is Tennessee.

We do many things well.

"Quiet" is not one of them. We are who we are-and it is the opposite of quiet and meek when it comes to football. Nope. Even at our worst the fanbase has always been anywhere/anytime.

Quite frankly-the off-season passed without at least a few weird news stories, I would get concerned.

Embrace the zaniness. It's the only thing that kept me going between like 2008 and 2020.

No school is getting “the death penalty” again. Also UT is not attached to this lawsuit and has already settled their case with the NCAA.
