I love peeking into a thread after it gets to a certain point and seeing how it has flown off on a tangent. Walmarts per capita has got to be a classic tangent!

I try to only go to Tuscaloosa for BBQ, or when the Vols are in town, so it's straight to Cullman or Bryant/Denny, then straight back to Birmingham. You may be right, and it's not in Tuscaloosa proper. Did you go check to see that all the Knoxville ones you looked up are in Knoxville proper? As stated earlier, the original point was Dallas has lots more to offer. Hell, Dallas has lots more to offer than the majority of the country. My point was Knoxville has more Wal-Marts (or probably any other national chain you care to Google) because it has a lot more people. This is about the dumbest argument I've ever been a part of, so can we just agree to disagree?

Sweet. I came to this thread to read about Saban but knew there was something I was forgetting. Got to the Walmart Wars portion of the thread and remembered I needed to GO to a KMSA Walmart to get a wheel of
cheese for my dog, some more throw pillows, a tiki torch and an oil change.

Jerry is not going to hire control freak Saban, who failed his last time in the NFL. He will hire a NFL guy. He has no choice but to hire a solid NFL guy. He has to fill Jerry's World.

Perhaps the differences in our respective nomenclature(s) has caused some confusion.

I believe Bammers refer to Wal-Mart as, "The Mall".
