I, for one, am thankful for Coach Chaney. Just look at how he's developed our offense and how many points they have put up in games this year. Yes, sometimes I've questioned his play calling but overall the guy has one of the best schemes I've ever seen. If he isn't retained by the new coach, he'll easily find another job and I wish him luck.

It's hard to argue with the points scored. But, a better mix of run pass is needed to become a top ten team. I would be fine with keeping him, but the new coach needs to make it clear that we have to have a more physical mentality on offense.

His playcalling sux.

I could score a hundred a game with this offense. His only correctly-called series this game was that last TD dr vie, where he ran it three times in a row then called the p lay action pass.

Then he went right back to his passing-on-first bullshlt.

I want to be appreciative of what he's done and I am but it's hard to be appreciative of any of the coaches considering how bad we have been as a team the last three years

I really like Chaney now. I used to hate him but now I think he's a really talented play caller (most of the time).


Having said that, I hope Sunseri gets fired. I also hope he gets kicked in the nuts on every birthday for the rest of his life.

Not only that. But Chaney has been through 2 head coaches also. Wouldn't it be funny if whoever is our next head coach kept Chaney and this offense together.

Nope. Never liked his smug attitude in interviews either. Good riddance!

People used to whine about Cut, then they whined about Sanders, then they whined about Cut again, then they whined about Clawson, then they whined about Kiffin as a pay caller, then they whined about Chaney.

Personally my only complaint with Chaney has been the 4th Q of FL. Even then he called some good plays that would have been first downs if not TDs if CP and Hunter had made the catches. He doesn't call the perfect play every time but no one does.

Over all I wouldn't mind keeping him. Defense needs the overhaul, not offense.

If coaching is so easy, then why aren't you on the sidelines. Just because you score 70+ a game on Xbox with this UT team doesn't mean you can coach worth a lick. Everyone thinks they're a damn professional or expert nowadays. Idiot.
