If coaching is so easy, then why aren't you on the sidelines. Just because you score 70+ a game on Xbox with this UT team doesn't mean you can coach worth a lick. Everyone thinks they're a damn professional or expert nowadays. Idiot.

Wish I could "like" a comment more than once.

His playcalling sux.

I could score a hundred a game with this offense. His only correctly-called series this game was that last TD dr vie, where he ran it three times in a row then called the p lay action pass.

Then he went right back to his passing-on-first bullshlt.

 biggest idiot on VN

How can anybody complain about scoring 37 ppg?

The offense has been the least of our concerns this season.

Some of you idiots bashing Chaney need to realize that dumbass Dooley micromanaged everything. We actually performed well for the first time in the 2nd half and guess what? It's without Dooley. Chaney isn't and never was the problem. Thank Dooley for the 5-7 season when we had the 3rd most scoring season in the history of Tennessee football. Why we didn't just promote Lance Thompson instead of hiring a guy that wasn't even a current DC is mind blowing.

Hard to argue with anything in this post.

I have been suspect of his play calling for most of his tenure, however, does not mean I don't appreciate him. He is one of the positives and after today, you can tell he was/ is a players coach. I wish him well if not retained as it must be hard being the OC under two failures.

You could tell the players actually respect Chaney. Don't think they would have given DD the Gatorade bath.

I, for one, am thankful for Coach Chaney. Just look at how he's developed our offense and how many points they have put up in games this year. Yes, sometimes I've questioned his play calling but overall the guy has one of the best schemes I've ever seen. If he isn't retained by the new coach, he'll easily find another job and I wish him luck.

THANK YOU COACH CHANEY. Winningest coach in UT history!!!!

I for one appreciate Coach Chaney & the rest of the staff's professionalism for getting the team ready this week & completing the season by playing hard today.

I have thoroughly enjoyed having CJC as OC here in Knoxville. It is hard to argue the offensive results. WHOEVER the next HC is definitely needs to take a long, hard look at keeping him on staff. Congrats Coach...and thanks for giving us a little stability on offense the past 4 years. Good luck whatever your future holds!

Good post. It was nice to see us actually come out and play a strong second half.

I hope we keep CJC. The players love him. If not then I hope for the best. He's a good coach and loves to go for the big play. Who wouldn't want that in there offense? Good win boys and a well deserve Gatorade bath.

Get off the crack and get into rehab quick! There may still be hope for you if you get in early!!

Nah man, Chaney's solid. All you have to do is look at our offensive stats, mainly PPG. I don't see how anyone can argue with 30+ points a game.
