From what I know, Purdue/Tiller shared pretty similar ideas and terminology as Pinkel and Christensen did at 'Zzou. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

Yep!!...I just dont see Strong as an improvement (well I do over Dooley) but he is not the answer for us...IMO he is unproven on the major stages of college football....at least as of now...

Peterson hasn't played in a tough conference just like strong. Strong is familiar with the SEC a lot more that p.

Count me in that number. Petersen may be an absolute stud if he can recruit at a higher level. Every game he coached against big competition, even after the word was out that Boise State should be considered very dangerous, he seemed to get the best out of the coach versus coach match-up. I would not be as upset if we get Gary Patterson or, maybe, Jimbo Fisher but Petersen is probably better than either of those coaches.
