This makes me absolutely despise the administration at UT. Absolutely pathetic to wait this damn long.

I get our fans are impatient but who knows what is actually going on behind the scenes. I personally like the patience being shown by our AD as long as we hire a great coach. We may lose a few recruits but with the right coach we will get them back or even upgrade. RELAX!

They’ll strike first and get a good name that will start an immediate buzz for recuiting. They also pick a good coach that’ll develop talent.

Meanwhile, we’ll screw around and end up with a H.S. Coach who finished third in his best season.

Hope I’m wrong, but history strongly indicates that this is exactly what will happen.

Who would you want as our next coach?

Just imagine. McElwain actually won to SEC East titles in a row. Something neither Butch, Dooley, or Kiffin came close to doing. And yet, UF decides that is not good enough. If Butch had won even one East title here he would have a job for at least 10 more years with huge raises and extensions.

That is the difference between UF and UT. UF has won 3 national championships in the last 25 years. That is the standard they expect their football program to perform at. UT's standard is to muddle along and get to bowl games, any bowl game will do.

How are Florida going to get ahead of us with coaches when we have already been reaching out behind the scenes and almost all of the pool of candidates are still coaching?

Actually the difference is Mac got fired for lying to his employer while captain cliche makes us a laughing stock.

That is how you run an administration. Bet they make a hire within a week.

*edit* I accidentally put this under Vols Football sorry.

It is?

Let's put it this way, they will have three (3) coaches they are paying when they play on November 11th (South Carolina)... one of the coaches they are still paying will be coaching for the other team. Muschamp, Shark Lover, and an interim coach. They really don't have cause, although they might be able say so at the moment.

Yeah, great job.

I hope they DO get Gruden! Butch is a battle-tested college coach and Gruden is just a desk jockey! He hasn't coached in years and only won a SB because he had Dungy's players! Knoxville should party if Gainesville lures the Gru!

So...why couldn't dungy win with dungy's players?

Indeed, that's the way you do it, but ONLY if you care about the state of the program, alumuni, student body, fans, boosters & University...I guess the powers-that-be at UT, don't feel as strong about the situation as the powers at UF...What's happening to us 😐☹😡😠

Yeah, great job.

Their not paying Mac. You need to get that out of your head. It’s truly remarkable how inept you are.

Florida administration and their boosters WANT TO WIN . Ut isnt committed to winning and neither is our boosters. WE lose to Fla and they fire their coach WE don't ! They get blown out by Ga and they fire their coach . WE get BLOWN OUT WORSE BY GA AND WE DON'T DO ANYTHING. I don't think UT administration or the boosters respect the fan base. They think they can shove this **** show down our throats and we will show up on Saturday and they are probably right. I havent been to a game since dooley and i wont go to another until UT makes a change in their approach and are committed to winning.

The team that won the East the past 2 years made a coaching change before we did...Currie deserves every bit of flack he gets, and then some.
