Jimmy cheek email concerning UT internal affairs

You hit the nail on the head. Local authorities can deal with this. The feds are ignoring their responsibilities by allowing illegal aliens and foreign motivated terrorists to kill our citizens while using resources to do what the locals can handle. Their focus is entirely political and is not to keep us safe.

Yet no mention of Colorado, South Carolina , Pennsylvania. What country were those murders from? You have a politically driven crap argument. Trumpophile

This investigation is completely football related and lists all of our players who have been accused...

Of course it's possible but the only one linking it to football is a biased Tennessean writer. Cheeks email lists one report yet they felt the need to list them all. Why is that be? UT is a big campus

I hope you're right. I wish Yahoo hadn't picked it up, especially with the line
"At least six football players on the Tennessee's 2014 roster have been accused of sexual assault."
The ESPN article seems a lot better (relatively speaking). At least most people reading it there understand that this stuff happens at every school. Yahoo reaches a lot more casual fans-I hate the thought of our reputation taking any more of a ding than it already has.

This is about as non-story as a story can get. Go Google Title IX investigations and you'll see just how many schools are under investigation (hint, it has been over 100 schools nearly every year for the past 5 years).

And while the woman from the Tennessean mentioned Tennessee Football players, this is not an investigation of the Football Team. This is an investigation of if the school under investigation violated Title IX by

A) not having an established procedure for handling complaints of sex discrimination, sexual harassment or sexual violence

B) not taking immediate action to ensure a victim can continue their education free of ongoing sex discrimination, sexual harassment or sexual violence

C) retaliating against someone filing a complaint and must keep a victim safe from other retaliatory harassment or behavior

D) encouraging or allowing mediation of the complaint

or E) not being proactive in ensuring that your campus is free of sex discrimination

Brainiac -

Go tell that to the families of the victim of a 5-times deported illegal who killed a person in San Fran
- or -
go to any border town and ask them if they feel "safe" from the gangs traversing their properties heading north or bus loads of non-citizens hanging around their towns - clogging up their hospitals, transportation systems, shoplifting, etc.

If you've paid attention to the oath of office for the President, it says something about protecting and upholding the Constitution which includes protecting its citizens and national sovereignty.

Of course, people like you resort to middle-school name calling b/c you haven't the mental substance to fill a Dixie Cup.

Go Volunteers ("VOLS") - (which historically of course defended future Americans against a Mexican invasion at the Alamo - how apropos considering our discussion...)

What's less safe, the border towns you're talking about, or cities across the US with atrocious gang problems? I'd rather live in one of those border towns than Flint. And that's about as far away as possible from Mexico.
