What's the percentage of people who refuse to actually work? I'm not trying to be an a-hole, I know you're shocked but I'd be curious to see how many people just won't get jobs even though the illegal Hispanics have no problem finding jobs
We agree again. However, if there was no such thing as welfare and food stamps, the lazy Americans would have to work to survive, and there would be no need for illegal Hispanics to be here.

the problem with welfare and food stamps is it's the small % who ruin it for those who actually need it....physical and mental exams plus monthly drug testing for any who wish to receive government handouts

Americans not in the workforce includes retirees. With the boomers retiring this should be an expected stat. It also includes people over 18, but in school. Give me a meaningful stat. And BTW, I am not claiming that the unemployment stats are meaningful either. We are all being fed bullsh!t and we're fighting over which spoon to eat from.

I'm certainly not arguing against the system we have in place. I am just pointing out that even if you don't believe in polls, the voting results don't support the statement that most people believe that Obama did a bad job.

No, you were clearly making the argument that Trump would have lost the election had we had an election determined by the popular vote. You posted that without any regard to Obama's appproval level. Your comment was totally independent of that. You are being disengenious.

So in essenece, you're suggesting that roughly 1 in 4 Americans refuse to work?

My comment had zero to do with Trump winning or losing. My comment was based on the assumption that people voting for Hillary likely approved of the job done by Obama. Since more voters cast their ballot for Hillary it follows that more voters approved of the job done by Obama than not.

No

They wanted to continue to sit on their asses and draw a check.

Interesting

US private sector created 298K jobs in Feb. vs. 190K est.: ADP

Key line libtards:
Companies added jobs at a blistering pace in February, with a notable shift away from the service-sector positions that have dominated hiring for years, according to a report Wednesday.

Thats what happens when you don't have an anti business President and the private sector isn't full of trepidation for years. You get real jobs, not burger flippers and bartenders.

Not too bad for his first February in office..considering Obama lost 651,000 jobs in his first turn.

Not necessarily, and thank goodness for the electoral college to level the playing field. There's a reason why congressional majority shifted over the past 8 years, and why he won.

HC may have won big cities and high-liberal population areas / states, but enough of the rest of the country voted the other way.

I'm not a Trump fan either, actually didn't vote for neither as I think it was a testament to how far down our country has sunken. Wasted my vote on a write-in, but I did vote.

I may not be one of the "we's"....but...as the left so virulently stated 8 years ago...he won, get over it.

unemployment has never paid so good.

Haha...that's funny because most of my friends are Republicans, some independents. My 3 far right buddies all live with their parents, 45, 45, 46 years old. The rest of my social circle has done really well over the last 10 years.

To give a little more detail about these guys. 2 have college degrees and one is "figuring things out." It's really sad, our other friends and I have had talks with them and offered them opportunities to do better but they all feel they're upper management types and deserve to be making $90k+. I honestly think they're waiting for their parents to pass away so they can get some sort of inheritance and stay in the house. I do have another buddy who has a degree in finance and works at Little Caesars. Smokes way too much weed and can't keep a job. They're F ups but I've been friends with them over 30 years, not going to abandon them now

Lol. That's sad. The idea of living with my parents past the age of 19 is horrifying.

Good news. This is the ADP report and is usually a good precursor. The actual jobs report is on Friday. Usually, the first Friday of the month to report the previous month.

Ehh, I've got a friend that's 45 and lives at home with his mother. Of course he does own his own home he rents out and by taking care of her he stands to inherit a boatload.

Now I do get that. I'd let my parents move in with me if they needed to but to have no drive to better yourself in life just baffles me.
