Jobs report

Now I do get that. I'd let my parents move in with me if they needed to but to have no drive to better yourself in life just baffles me.

I thought this way but then I realized that I would technically be living with my parents again...

Jobs Friday: Added 235,000 net new jobs in February, beating expectations of 190,000 jobs. The unemployment rate went down to 4.7% from 4.8%. The labor force participation rate went up slightly to 63% from 62.9% in January. Average jobs added the last 6 months was 182,800. Moving in the right direction. Sets up a Fed rate increase next week.

So, is Trump going to say that unemployment dropped from 37.1% to 37.0%. That was his position during the election. Let's see how consistent he is...

Hey, guys, let me ask.

When Obama was president and the number of jobs in a given month came in much better than expected, I am told by Trump and his campaign that the numbers were "phony."

Now that Trump is president, it seems that when the same thing happens, and the exact same source gives the numbers, they are a great accomplishment.

Can anyone make sense of that for me? Thanks in advance.

Let's see if the revise them down in the next couple of months like they always did over the last few years.

They are BS numbers, regardless of who is president.

According to Mr DJT, the jobs numbers during the election were phony but now they're real (SHOCKER!!!)...Well according to what he told Spicer.

I thought about being that guy last month, but I didn't do it.

But I love how this board just completely elided over the March job numbers like they never even existed. No one ever even bothered posting them here, even though we all hanged on to every Obama jobs report like each was going to be the ultimate index of his presidency.

No one is arguing it isn't, upstanding gentleman.

The point being made is that Obama had literally dozens like this, yet he was a bad jobs president, according to the learned men of this board.

Velo is the one that posted about the April report.

I was simply asking why he posted it; what his secret message was.

Weren't bad numbers during Obama's first 8 years all Bush's fault?

As it turns out, the March jobs numbers were 78,000, down from the original 98,000.

Did Obama ever have that bad of a report, other than in the very early days of his presidency?

Granted, it was March, so I'm not going to put that much stock into that.

It was a disaster.... No chart needed
