Joe Lunardi thinks UT gets in the NCAAT

Your right. They are going to look at his game today and think ...... That's a guy that can lead a team to the finals. Please take your orange colored glasses off.

What if they watched the TAMU game, eh?

I think the SEC will get no more than 3 teams in.

Luckily, the committee doesn't think that way, but it won't surprise me if only three get in. Florida and Mizzou are the only guarantees right now.

You don't know much about the tournament process.

It happens ever year with every bubble team.

Also, can you show me where it is guaranteed we make the NIT and not the NCAAT? Wait, what's that? You can't because the season's not over? Okay.

Elitist attitude. Look...go live in your dream world. I will live in reality ut had a good run topped off by key injuries on other teams. Your like the guy yesterday telling me the SEC would get six teams in the tourney.

You're the one that seems to not be bending on your opinion at all. That seems elitist, no? Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them elitist.

And Joe Lunardi, a bracketologist, while flawed, knows more than you and me about the process, still has UT right square on the bubble. So why should I take your opinion when you refuse to bring facts, rankings, stats, other teams, strength of schedules, etc.?

3 is a real possibility after today. #yourliving inadreamworld.

Where are your facts. I have thrown out my philosophy as to how the committee will view the UK and UF wins. Tell me why you think they are in with asterisks by those wins.

After today's loss Lunardi has Tn as the first team out. If baylor loses TN moves to last team in

Look at their wins and tell me why we should. Throw out UK and UF. They don't count.

hahahahahaha ok, you just proved your incompetence.

lets throw out this whole year cause UT hasnt had Maymon!!

Lets throuw out the past month for duke cause they didnt have kelly! none of those wins count for those other teams!

Ridiculous. UK is in then loses to a decent arky team then drop out. We are out of the last eight out then lose to Georgia and are now in the first four out in front of Georgia.

he had UT as first four out before we lost today. We were never "out of the last 8 out"

Tennessee only has two bad losses to the same team, one without their starting point guard.

Tennessee has a top 20 SOS according to ESPN.

Tennessee has won eight of their last ten, which the committee states they consider heavily on how a team finishes.

Tennessee has an RPI in the top 60 right now.

Tennessee still has a top 50 game left against Missouri.

Tennessee has a very good home record, which the committee looks at.

And your philosophy is just that. Your philosophy. Have you ever been part of the selection process?

People do the selection. We won't pass the eyeball test. If this was computers selecting those wins would help.

We beat Florida with their starting five. You want the make the case for UK, fine. A week later Mizzou lost to them after UT kicked UK's asses by 30.

Actually you are wrong up until 630 pm today we were not mentioned. We were after the UF win for a day or two...but moved out.

actually.. you're wrong. :p Before today's game he had TN listed as the first team out. The espn bracket on their website had not been updated since last week. If you clicked on the Lunardi link it clearly showed TN as first team out. Did you watch the game? They showed the "ESPN TN 1st team out" All game...

After TN lost the fell to 2nd team out (after AL and others lost).

Now, he has TN as first team out again.

That's simply not correct. Did you watch the game? Three of four times UT was shown as the first team out. It was on college gameday. It was on the halftime show. It's an error on the website.

Yes I did watch the game and they were using Thursdays projections. It was even discussed yesterday on sports talk that ut had dropped off the first four out. Your flat out wrong.

Also bballvol, about "discrediting" the UK loss, what about John Calipari saying that having Noel would not have mattered, UT still would have beat them?

So, let me guess this straight. UT beats Florida Tuesday. They then become the first team out on Thursday. Then UT all of a sudden drops out of the first eight out in one day with only one bubble team winning Thursday?

Did you see the logic you are using here?

I will say that I didn't watch the halftime show so if they said there was a mistake on the website that would make sense but I don't see it.

Yes....Lunardi putting ut in front of UK after losing to ga and UK losing to ark is ludicrous ....just like you holding on to a win over Wichita state should be enough to get us I. The tourney. Do u really think we should be in front of UK right now?
