The whole damn game was nothing but RPOs and runs and the Josh decides he wants to actually start throwing the ball with 4 mins left in the game.
Oh and maybe if Lance Heard could learn a snap count and Campbell and Spraggins could pick up a blitz it would help too.
Or maybe if Banks didn't spend a whole half playing zone 8-10 yds off the WRs and we could've kept them from having the ball for 20 mins, that mightve helped too.
BS on all of thisCJH is the real OC no matter who has the title.
I don’t think he trusts Nico quite yet. He will have to moving forward against better teams. The defense will not hold good (not great) teams under 20 pts, and the offense will not rush for 150 yds against good defenses without a passing game.
What did Nico do so poorly? He didn’t turn the ball over and was accurate with most of his throws. We just didnt call enough down the field passes imo. I guess the quarterback always gets a lot of blame, but to me, it is the constant inside runs and willing to play a field position game that cost us tonight.Prove me wrong
If the run game and deep passes aren't there, we're cooked. Teams have figured us out. We have no quick game and no answer for 3 deep safeties and late movement by the defenseEntire Offensive game plan has been trash. Lost our identity and let an average Arkansas defense dictate our offense.
Obvious CJH doesn’t know what he wants to be on offense. The 12 personnel worked against a bad NC St. team & we tried it most of the 1st half tonight…nothing. Couldn’t establish anything or get in any rhythm. Really disappointing, and starting to think Golesh was the magic all along
I am a nico fan. I do not typically post or knee jerk.. lets call it what it was- he was not accurate tonight. He was consistently throwing low or behind. He over threw that deep ball (the one we attempted) badly. What did Nico do so poorly? He didn’t turn the ball over and was accurate with most of his throws. We started every drive…every single drive with a 3 yard Samson inside run even though they sometimes had 8 defenders within 3 yards of the LOS. No stretch Ron, no designed quarterback keepers just Jeremy Pruitt style. We are going to run right into the teeth of the defense even when they’re selling out to stop it.
On the road, coach called the right game. Players didn’t execute. This was a defense/special teams/field position game and we just lostAll yall sound dumb as hell… that throw on the last drive rolling to his left shows what he can be… this is on heup more than Nico and it’s not close we punt on every 4th and short… he coaches tight and tries to rely on his defense… we had opportunities for points multiple drives we punted the ball away. It’s tough to win on the road in the sec… squirrel dropped a pass that was catchable hope it isn’t a bad injury… ark was much more physical and the refs let them hold a lot more. But to come and act like this is on Nico is silly when we had poor predictable play calling all game and untimely penalties… our first play from scrimmage was a 20 yard rope called back we just never got in rhythm.
You left out the part about being a millionaire.Wow. So seems like we see teams every week out in a fresh QB and they play good. But asking. Our 100 ranked 5* QB to lead an offense to beat an unranked Arkansas is too much? Jesus Christ.
So what should we expect from him?
