Joe Milton at Senior Bowl

I wish Joe all of the success in the world. Dude stuck around after Hendon took over, when most would have left. He didn't sulk or whine, just went to work and was a hell of a teammate.
He strikes me as the type that has a great attitude, works very hard and wants to learn. He holds onto those traits and he'll do well in life no matter what path he takes..

BEST OF LUCK JOE!

Atlanta is like Detroit, and Ryan is like Matthew Stafford= good QB's that got stuck on suck teams that had no dedication to building a winning program. Ryan did lose to the Pats in a Superbowl, and that is how he will be remembered. In his prime, one of the best . Atlanta this year would play good one game, suck the next, beat good teams and then lose to bad teams and to me, that is a sign of coaching not prepping or coaching them to be the best. Buy hey, I don't watch them as much as you so, just my 2 cents.
Your statement that Atlanta was where QBs go to die is simply not correct. Matt Ryan had borderline HOF numbers for his career in Atlanta. One loss in a Super Bowl does not negate that. Steve Bartkowski was a pretty damn good QB in the 80's. Chris Chandler took the Falcons to a 14-2 record in 1998 and a Super Bowl appearance. I agree they were not well coached under Art Smith, the fact that Smith was fired, well, it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. But then, having to design his offense around a bad QB did not help his cause. But implying that the QB play was not a problem? Maybe you should watch more than two games, orrrr.....simply look at the statistics put up by Desmond Ridder. Dude was a turnover machine. It's obvious that QB play was the BIGGEST problem these last two years. BTW, the new coaching staff agrees. They are currently looking for a new starting QB.

It's a weighted piece of equipment to help prevent him from overthrowing the ball
So in essence, it is a stadium deterrent? Rumor has it Joe was throwing too many balls out of the stadium, and this contraption will save enough money on balls to pay for someone's NIL deal.

Joe had a good year, not great, but all the problems with the offense was not all on him. Bru injury hurt us a lot, the other receivers didn't help much. Hope he does well
What hurt him the most was an injured offensive line that he had almost all year. He looked good In games where we had all the starters in.

I saw games( and highlights) where Ridder played good and some he played bad. A lot has to do with having protection to throw the ball from a good OL- the same reason that Ryan was struggling his last few years.

The Falcons Oline is just average, not good, not terrible. Watching (once again, more than two games) him throw the worst interceptions at the most inopportune times was what got him benched twice. They were mistakes even rookies seldom make. But I'm done here, I only have so much time to spend on your education.

Pulling for Joe but in 2 series, was not impressive. Took a sack in his first play/1st series and then threw an interception on his 2nd series. He had a chance to run for 1st downs twice and didn't take it either time.
Come on Joe!

Not been watching closely but did skim through and saw his series.

Both those plays were incredibly bad in a game where a player is getting limited opportunity to display his abilities.

Thought he missed an open TE/WR #0 on that sack too if he'd had the confidence/awareness to make the pass.

DB for Oregon made a good play on the ball but that throw was inexcusible being late, over the middle, and off balance. It was a trifecta of bad decision making in one play.

Very poor decision making on his part…..use your damn legs.
What I been saying all year, Joe needs to run more. He looks at his first route and if not open runs out of the pocket but to the side and throws on the run, where he is not effective. His sack on his first series was bad also.

Everything I've read from reports and his play today, he's very unimpressive to say the least. Hurting his draft stock more by the day. I hate it for him, but I'll be shocked if he goes before the 6th/ 6th Rd, if at all.
