The QB has to wait for that break to occur. Another thing that does a disservice to the QBs is that they are taught to stand flat-footed in the pocket instead of up on their toes so that when they get the sight picture they want, they can plant their feet and be in the best position to make the throw. I think that hurts them and will have to be corrected at the next level.

" Milton's been largely unimpressive this week with multiple decision-making errors, ball placement issues and overthrows." This is a quote from one of the cast at the senior bowl. The same thing me and many UT Vol fans have been saying all year.

He got his stats from short passes, none hardly down field passing with any consistency. But when I think about it, I do trust Hypes decisions, I totally agree with you on that.

Nico would have thrown 4 picks and everyone would have been *****ing on him and he would regress to Nick Stephens level.............see anyone can have ridiculous opinions they are trying to pass along as fact :)

You must have reading comprehension problems, I stated nothing as fact, just my opinion.

I can't speak to the "decision-making errors", but ball placement and overthrows are a direct result of bad throwing mechanics. I don't know why UT stresses that, but no one else in the NFL teaches it. For good reason.

I can't really think of another position Milton could've played. He should've played baseball.

That last int was bad but the first INT was 100% an amazing play by the safety. That WR was wide open and the safety had Scottie beam him over to the play. It was a great play and throw by Milton and any QB would have thrown that ball.

It was a horrible throw my Milton. You never throw late over the middle, especially when you're running to the right.

Now take out all passes that traveled 1yd or less then compare again. Numbers are misleading. Milton is inaccurate.

All you have to do is look at completion % of downfield passes of say 15 yds or more and completion % the middle of the field, and you will see on those he is less that 50%. UI

Joe's completion % of downfield passes of say 15 yds or more is probably less than 50% across the middle low %. Ut has been very good at yds after the catch. But you can continue to think Joe is a good qb, thats the dumb one. I think Joe is a good guy, good person but poor qb.
