Joe Milton III performance

Zero, he has the strongest arm in the country, we are lucky to have him next year. Zero drop-off at the most important position. Yes, Joe can be that good, as good as Hooker this year.
BETTER physically. Got a lot to match with HH's decision making, but the margin of error is way broader with the physical gifts. The one rush showed he could beast in that department also.

Milton is playing better, but the problem isn't his arm strength. It's decision-making and we won't get to see that till he's the full-time starter. I am increasingly optimistic about Milton, though; he looks so much improved from before. But the real test is going to be when we're playing someone like Florida next year.

Hendon would likely tell you he can be better. There’s a gap between can and will though.

He’s better than Hooker right now. I’ll get slammed for this but Hooker is a system QB. He’s thrown to wide open guys all year long. His arm strength is average and is not all that accurate especially under pressure. Milton has been spectacular all year. Just go back and look at his highlights.

I agree.

I agree that you should be slammed for this.

Hendon Hooker is no system QB. He is legitimately one of the most talented QBs in the country. Perhaps THE most talented.

If you can't see that, honestly, not trying to be insulting, you really don't get college football. It's pretty obvious.

Your wrong. Draft will prove this out.

Beautiful point is you reload straight to Milton with a monster arm and an understanding of the offense while nico gets groomed, bulked up, and learns. Ball passes from one great to the next to the next
Yep.

Ladies and Gents, we are going to be in the hunt for SEC and National championships for as far into the future as the eye can see.

Go Vols!

To be fair, football is about creating a system that fits what your QB does well. Otherwise, it’s not a very good system. You have to accentuate your QB’s strengths.

Hooker has things to work on. His accuracy is hit and miss at times with him throwing high but he’s thrown 5 picks in 2 years lol.

Joe has a CRAZY arm. Like Mahomes/Allen level. If he can start to dissect defenses and we can dial up those vertical shots….our offense won’t miss a beat. I think it’ll depend on if Hyatt stays or not. I think he should leave if he has a first round grade (McShay) but he can definitely get stronger and work on his wiggle because he doesn’t break tackles.
