Joe Milton III performance

That is a GREAT nickname for him! I love it!

Rocket Man, Dobbs graduated quite some time ago. Just saying. Maybe now is the age of MiG Milt, or Messerschmitt Milton, or even The Tennessee Comet. Meteor Man?

I'm still worried. I don't know that worried is the correct term, but I still have a wait and see approach until I see Milton when he's having to execute in some pressure type situations. I don't necessarily mean pressure on the QB. I mean game pressure as in we got to have a drive this time out, or we have to have a score and it's our last time to have the ball. Have to see that he has shaken the poor decision making such as he had in the Ole Miss game last year. The arm has never been a question. There is a reason he was the starter over Hooker at the beginning of last season. Much easier to look good in practice or low pressure situations.
I am hopeful though after seeing him this year in mop up duty. He seems to have progressed this year.

Don't worry. When, not if, but when he makes the slightest miscue, he'll be negavol fan-stomped as usual. You can count on that.

I’m not really one for nicknames… but c’mon… Bazooka Joe is a little obvious isn’t it??

I don't think my post was responding to the Bazooka Joe moniker. Rather the Rocket Man one. I have nothing against Bubble Gum Boy. He was Topps.

I was shocked.
67 yards in the air is insane.

I think it was 67 yards despite a poster saying it was only 60 yards. Why. I have to see it again, but think he lined up in the shot gun, which puts him maybe 2-3 yard back. Then he stepped back even farther after receiving the hike. So from his launching point, 67 yards was about right.

Anyone still worried about QB next year after seeing those two freaking on the money lasers Joe threw in the 4th quarter today? What an arm!!!
Exactly. His growth on the long ball this year has been enormous. And from today he continues to get better and better.

I also noticed when scrambling or draws, he attacks and drives into the contact this year as well.

We are in good hands with him.

He threw from the 35 and it hit the wr at the 5. 60yds

But it was thrown diagonally so I would buy 67yds "in the air".

His skills and athleticism are off the charts. If he can carry that accuracy and decision making into next season this offense will be scary.

I didn’t read every post of the thread so sorry if already said:

Joe Milton had more yards in two possessions than Will “Football Jesus” Levis had in 4Qs against Vandy.
