I would like to preface my post by saying that I thoroughly enjoyed watching every minute of Johnny Football on the field last season, and his off the field pictures and posts following the season. I think it's equal parts amazing and hilarious.
It's such a vague post that it's hard to interpret what really happened.
He does need to be careful on Twitter though. Posting pictures of him partying are fun and quite harmless as long as his play doesn't suffer. Slamming your college's home-town and then passive-aggressively deleting it right after is completely different, and approaching attention-starved ego territory.
The "walk a day in my shoes" tweet really irked me. Honestly, I can't feel sorry for this guy. I'm sure his shoes aren't even the worst to step into in his town, let alone the thousands that follow him. Yes, woe is the 20 year old that sits court side, parties, works out on a beach, enjoys family money, receives bottle service, entertains a plethora of co-eds, appears in music videos, throws out first pitches, and makes it all available to the public at will.
It's not hard to be a 2nd year Heisman winner at an SEC school. Tebow did it all with a smile on his face and a "God Bless". I'm not judging the way that Johnny Football lives his life, but to challenge the masses to "walk in his shoes" for a day like it's the hardest thing ever is very off putting. I know that he's young and can easily get caught up in situations, but of all the things to say.
