Speculation over on TexAgs says it has to do with the College Station police breaking up a party in the wee hours of the morning.

The part about 'walking in his shoes' or something to that affect refers (and I could be way off base on this), that he's constantly dogged as the celebrity that he is (to all of us who hold A&M dear), and that even going out in College Station is difficult.

Someone once asked Bill Murray for advice on how to become rich and famous. He advised them to concentrate on becoming rich.

making judgments about someone you don't even know

Yes, that is exactly what I am doing. Kid sits sideline at the Lakers playoff game with his model girlfriend, who he also apparently cheated on, and then complains about getting so much attention.

What also pisses me off with JF is that he is taking online courses because he thinks he is too "famous" to be on campus in public classes. Give me a break, Peyton Manning still took normal classes at UT, and no one was ever more popular than that MAN when he was here.

Just seems arrogant IMO, he may not be, but to me, he seems like he is.

Not for long. Texas A&M will be the premier program in Texas in a few years.

Lmao....

Something that has been a certain way for a 100 years doesn't change over night.

That's like Vandy saying they are the new premier school in Tennessee...

Smh

A&M will always be the little brother of Texas

Um.....Vandy also doesn't have the money and resources to overtake Tennessee. A&M has that to compete against Texas. You're a funny guy. :eek:lol:

It's a lot harder for Vanderbilt to usurp UT than it is for Texas A&M to move ahead of Texas.

Vanderbilt plays in the same conference as Tennessee, has an inferior stadium and facilities to those in Knoxville and offers no advantage to football players over the Vols with the exception of top-flight academics. A&M, on the other hand, joined a superior football conference poised to make waves with its network, is about to have the largest stadium in said conference and now has a wider recruiting ground than the Longhorns.

It won't happen overnight because Texas football is still, you know, Texas football... but that Longhorn Network won't be enough to keep them on top if A&M starts winning conference and national titles.

Johnny Football better be nice to those nice people in College Station. After he fails miserably at the NFL and blows his fourth round contract on coke and whores he will need something to fall back on. Remember Johnny, you can't sell used cars if no one likes you.

i liked this comment :)

Did Vandy have the money last year when they whipped our a$$ up and down the football field?

Could always transfer to that school in Austin he really wanted to go to. Hell, Mack's always looking for another saftey plus it gets him back in the Hill Country and closer to Kerrville. He would never be heard from again and yet be the king of 6th st. His side show would help Keep Austin Weird: A Guide to the Odd Side of Town: Red Wassenich: 9780764326394: Amazon.com: Books
