The character development is excellent. In the beginning, he’s just a quiet mentally ill guy that goes about his own business.

I’m torn. The movie is so great as a stand-alone, but man I’d love to see another movie with Phoenix’s Joker.

Finally got around to watching the movie. I thought it was a great movie. The only complaint is that Fleck should have been a more intelligent character. This is supposed to the arch-villain of Batman.

Just finished watching it tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. If you go into it knowing it's not action packed and definitely not a Batman movie, it's a a dark, dramatic, origin story then you'll be better prepared to see it and enjoy it.

I immediately noticed the music in the beginning of the movie and thought that sounds very similar to Chernobyl and sure enough I google it and it's the same composer. That's awesome!
