What is your e-mail address? I saw your post about your source talking about Hart and Gruden wanting to get back in coaching.

I got some more info last night about Gruden as it pertains to a potential Tennessee opening.

Uh-uh....spill it. We're all friends here, in the shrine to the Gru'. We won't tell.

There is a TON of extra work that goes into a coaching search and hire.

Absolutely, which makes his statement accurate. Hart doesn't want to make a change for that very reason. That being said, not wanting to do something doesn't mean it doesn't happen though. That's where I was going with my (evidently poor) anology. Just my opinion of course...

A little perspective though.

Johnny majors hire: home run, after winning a NC at Pitt, was able to come home and build his beloved school back up.

Fulmer: well thought out hire from an OC that was well thought of. His home school too.

Kiffin: long coaching search with a young successful coach bringing in his HOF dad as DC.

Dooley: scrambled to hire him on short notice. Was the best we could get at the time.

New Coach: it will/should be a well thought out process that targets the best of the best offering the best facilities and pay in the country.

No I gotcha. :)

I agree. No AD "wants" to make a change, but if your HC is losing and the timing is right for a potential home run hire, you absolutely step up to the plate, find the $$$ and make the change. It's all about timing in this business now and you better take advantage of it if the opportunity is there.

Nor do I. In fact, I revel in it. You think it's funny to slobber over Gruden? You are senile. He 'just' has a Super Bowl ring? Oh. My. God. Really? If the Grudenites are to be ridiculed because Gruden 'has no accomplishments' then the Doolanders should receive open hostile contempt. He's done NOTHING....except lose....often. He didn't build Tampa? Ok, who did Tampa play for the title that year? Oh, Oakland, maybe? Did he build them? Yes, yes he did. Selective logic. It's what's for dinner.

Best not to speak when you speak from ignorance. I, too, watched many games sitting on The Hill behind the green North end-zone bleachers. I am 11 years younger than you, but I would near guarantee that I have more "football years" under my belt than you, and not just as a fan. You can shove your "you damn kids get out of my yard" attitude.

Have a nice day:hi:....and Gruden Rules!

-Negas....Leading the way forward.
