Greg Roman is a call I would make. Offensive coordinator of the 49ers, coached under Harbaugh at Stanford. Just a thought because I really liked how Stanford ran the ball and some of their blocking schemes. Consider my two cents deposited.

I would love to have Saban as our coach but think about it. If Saban were to come here, do you not think that someone in the bama fanbase would not kill him? I am being serious. He would require more security than the president.

Okay, I'll give Dooley 12 more years, but that's IT. If he doesn't get us turned around in a decade and a half, then I'm tempted to say we need a new coach.

This is the truth of it. You can give a squirrel all the time in the world, but it's not going to suddenly become a beaver. Dooley is what he is - a coach with a history of losing and his ceiling is nothing more than average. More time isn't going to change that.

Talked to my last source this morning. Gruden does want to get back into coaching but it has to be right job/ right time type thing.

He is the only one that would make Saban nervous.

Charlie Strong is a joke and he would be worse than Dooley.

Gruden has a small studio in Tampa that he watches and breaks down film. 4:30AM to 9:30PM. Has the craziest work ethic.

Hart does NOT want to make a change. So all this may be either just smoke, or the boosters forcing a hand.

I may not want to cut the grass but that doesn't change the fact that my wife keeps telling me I need to or else...

Strong would be terrible. He isn't well thought of among coaches.

What is your e-mail address? I saw your post about your source talking about Hart and Gruden wanting to get back in coaching.

I got some more info last night about Gruden as it pertains to a potential Tennessee opening.
