Gruden wouldn't want to coach this defense.

Gruden wouldn't switch to a 3/4 defense when he only has one year left to prove he can get er done. Like stopping for an oil change when you're already late for work...just don't do it.

And then I'm sure Gruden would hire an EXPERIENCED DC to run the D in a league this demanding. Hamilton hired an unproven HC and that unproven HC hired a career position coach to be the DC...and that position coach hired a GA for his DB coach. I smell a stinky theme here.

Lack of experience in the toughest league...it shows in games like this.

Now, him being a good man does not equal wins, unfortunately. The program is bigger than any one person and imo his tenure may be coming to an end.
