I ain't gonna lie. I felt pretty bad for Dooley at that moment. We were in very good position to to tie the game and take it into OT. With UGA's D being gassed, I thought we had 'em on the ropes, and rather shocked that we weren't going away. Not from what I was told ahead of this game. He was coaching for his job tonight IMO, and it showed on his face after Bray's last pick.
Guess we'll know within the month.
Going to be a long 2 weeks after this one. And I'm with Jay on MSU. If we beat them (even though they will be ranked) doesn't make everything better and is NOT the measuring stick for a program like Tennessee. That is what Vandy fans get excited about.
Yeah , we gave Georgia a game and had a chance. Don't get me wrong , I am proud of the effort. But at the end of the day all people remember are wins and losses.

I want this team to do well and for Dooley to finally show he can beat SEC/Ranked teams. Took another big step backwards today. Had the talent to win both of these games, but I remain convinced that CDD wasn't even qualified to be the HC at La Tech...and that experimenting with making a position coach your DC + switching to an entirely different defensive scheme was further proof of it.
I want Dooley to succeed. I feel he has done a lot for the University.
Now, him being a good man does not equal wins, unfortunately. The program is bigger than any one person and imo his tenure may be coming to an end.
That being said, I understand why people on both sides feel the way they do. I just don't understand why some try to belittle others for whatever.
So keep it up.

Come on Jon, you mean. Kind of reminds me of the UPS slogan (What can Brown do for you?). What could Jay do with a team that has this much offensive talent (defense too, but moreso on O)?But but, it was a moral win...come on Jay

Good to see you here..Hadn't seen ya' all day..We've held the fort down.:wink2:
Been offline most of the day. Good to see people here putting in work. I just watched the Dooley press conference. The guy looks like he's been through hell. I posted it at the top of the board. He did get a little angry with the , but he looks like he knows his fate.
I'm sure he does.
Appreciate you posting it, but honestly I don't feel like watching it...My mind is on getting a coach in here that can win some games..if you know what I mean.:wink2:
I think he sees his opportunity to stay on as HC heading in the wrong direction. Not that it's gone, but it's sounding like a familiar theme.Been offline most of the day.
