I would say it is believable considering the AD we had plus the roster attrition we suffered at that time. He wasn't gonna take over for 3 or 4 million with what we had at that time.

I also heard Eric Ainge a couple weeks ago say there are SEVERAL big time coaches that he knows would come here but only IF we paid them enough money. We can get the best but only if we pay some big money. Man I hope the big money people pay attention and dont get cheap. Its time to invest in people and not just some new shiny buildings

Believe it has been mentioned in this thread before that Hambone was going to force Gruden to keep Chief on his staff for stability. Then he hires Kif who got rid of him anyway.

No, but do you expect the AD just to come out a say we are hiring so and so before the paper is dry? They didn't even do that with CDD. The money people want change.

Anything can happen. I can only go by what others have told me. I'm sure there may be a split in the boosters, not everyone thinks the same. I think we will know rather quickly, say in the next two weeks. IMO

Holgorsen isn't even in the top ten. Strong is though. Still, this has basically been a done deal for a few weeks now.
