Really?

A rock fell from the sky. Tied to it by chain and rope was a floppy disc from 1984. Someone discovered the rock and the disc. They happened to have an IBM from 1984 in the back of their 1999 Plymouth Neon. After some searching, they found somewhere to hook that summa ***** up. That place was where I happened to be dining with my wife and 2 kids. When the '84 IBM finally booted up and information on the disc loaded - it was discovered that Dooley had been fired.

...or maybe someone in the Old City started a rumor (or shared viable info) and it spread like news of that nature usually does.

That info adds up with some of the other info floating around here. All of this stuff combined with the Gruden info that Jay, OV, DTO, etc. are hearing is starting to form a peculiar pattern :question:

People don't get that Dooley has shown ABSOLUTELY NO signs of improvement AT ALL. That's why he's getting canned. No improvement in recruiting, no improvement on gameday, all of his coaches bailed on him. As long as steady improvement is shown, whoever the hire is will get his time.

Money is not a problem. Ear marked funds and boosters can/will get it done if he wants to coach here. There are other boosters besides the Haslams.

I understand that. All I am saying is what would stop Jimmy Haslam from pursuing Gruden for Cleveland instead of investing money into UT?
