When you look strictly at recruiting the fear factor arises when you talk about a coaching change.

Then the question arises, is a recruiting class (assuming it just blows completely up and we sign next to nothing. Which I don't see happening) worth keeping a coach that has not earned another season here.

At would be a no.

Are some recruiting classes worth it? Maybe.

Is this very average one Dooley has worth it? Hell no.

Plus, Gruden will bring in his own recruits to finish out the class and he will have a good chance flipping guys like Lawson and getting Greene(we are leading for him if I understand correctly plus hopefully Gruden will keep Graham on his staff) and Bell on board.:)

Been reading Hogville.net. They believe that they would win a bidding war with Tennessee if both schools had interest in any particular coach.

Attempting to save a recruiting class is exactly what got us into the current mess. A definitive no.

I can't believe people think Dooley will be fine with losses against Alabama and South Carolina.

Amazing the power of group think.
Given those two losses Dooley will have only beaten Vandy and Ole Miss in the SEC, and split with Kentucky.

I didnt expect to win those two, but I sure expected to win the Ms State game this year. If there ever was a barometer for this season, that surely had to be it. From all I am hearing it was.

No worries.

Someone said that they were on an Arky message board and some of the Arky fans said that if Gruden were to return to college coaching, that it would be UT.

I did find one fan that said that we are the most realistic destination for Gruden if he were to return to coaching.

If Dooley is retained after 7-5, then everyone supporting that will get exactly what they deserve with next year's abomination. Unfortunately everyone else will continue to suffer as well.

There are too many good solid posters saying Dooley is finished.

At least there is one rational fan on that particular Arky message board.

I have a feeling that Butch Davis will end up at Arky.
