Man,please don't listen b/c apparently Dooley still has some support and they would be happy with a 7-5 year..They would be happy with that just b/c they WANT him to have another year, and we would NOT be happy with that b/c we think he doesn't deserve it..So please don't fret, just hang out with us and chill..Here let me get you a glass of Gruden-Aide.:salute:

I am a "rational poster"... who has said for a long time that 7-5 should not be good enough and even gave the reasons why. Reasons that match up with what we're seeing.

Just because people don't jump to conclusions like you are apt to do... doesn't mean they have low expectations and aren't "rational".

That said, the recruiting forum folks tend to be positive because they're always looking at some HS stud who will solve all problems. They seldom consider that the guys who are failing right now were once studs they thought would fix all problems.

They would be happy with 7-5 because they get obsessed with these "underrated" 3* and 4* recruits, and they know that if Dooley had just one or two more then he starts winning championships.

My conclusion was the correct one.

Also, don't look now, but I think we just agree on their rationale for saying 7-5 is good enough.

I have a firm grip on reality. The reality is that Dave Hart will be negotiating the contract not Hammy. There will be larger buyouts than Dooley's contract for both UT and Gruden. If Kiffin would have not had a K-Mart blue light special price to get out of his contract, USC doesn't come calling.
