As a Bears fan, I don't really care that they got screwed. Maybe that will end the lockout. If a team had to take one for the league, the Packers are the best choice, IMO.

Hopefully he gets fired because of his comments and will need a job

Really weird that replay cannot be used to determine possession. Also weird, from last night, that replay cannot be used to judge a FG that goes over the posts.

They did review it and STILL called it a TD. Looks like SEC refs out there. And yes...Gruden tripped the hell out.

I could be wrong, but I thought the explanation was that they reviewed to confirm that Tate was in bounds and that they could not use the replay to confirm or overrule the on-field decision of a shared possession.

Not to mention the push off from Tate. I know they don't review that , but how did they miss it? Several bad calls in that game and over the weekend. They deserve everything said about them.

I guarantee Gruden would get more patience and universal acceptance than anyone they could hire. He could lose some early in his tenure and the stadium would still be packed for every game.

AWWWWWESOME!! I would camp out in front of the TV with chips and beer just to see the press conference and witness Gruden at the podium accepting the best college football job in America! It really would be football time in TENNESSEE!

By the way that's a nice job on the pic and splicing it together. good work

The Daily Beacon is reporting at this hour that Future Tennessee Head Football Coach Jon Gruden was seen at Academy Sports in West Knoxville purchasing a whistle and a pair of coaches shorts.

Just sayin.

Not after 0-for-october is done

Like I have said, it will play out and whatever happens will happen, but you are talking about the future that hasn't happened yet. I am talking about current status. Though you were trying to harrass me a little about it, it's apparent you agree that as of right now, Dooley has next year. I know that you don't like to hear it, but it is what it is.

You don't think Hart plans on giving him next year?

I'm not sure what Dooley has done to warrant Hart giving him another year...especially if bigger and better things are waiting. Dooley's fate has been and continues to be in his own hands. Big stretch of games coming up...let's see how he does.

Dooley is a dead man walking. My one inside source, a letterman, tells me that Georgia is a must win. If not, he's gone. That doesn't mean the announcement will be made Sunday or Monday if we lose, but the decision will be made.

If he survives the Dawgs, MSU and USCjr become the critical games.

Boro, DD isn't going to be gone based off of losing to a top 5 team on the road. Sorry dude. That's not how it works. If he slips up against Troy, vandy or ky and doesn't win one more of the other, you may get your wish, but it won't be from a loss on the road to Uganda

I'll play the odds and say he's fired after USCe

As its been said numerous times he isn't being fired for losing any one game. Its his entire body of work that has shown his inability to win a game that matters.

He'll be fired because he hasn't been competitive with a team with a pulse. Hart isn't hitching his wagon to a WAC loser

It's not based off one loss to a top 5 UGA....and you know it. Its based off of the inability to beat any of our big 4 rivals since he's been here. It based on the pattern of underachievement.

The Florida meltdown caused it.....the Akron struggle put the exclamation point on it.

I stand by what my Letterman friend told me. This is someone who currently does business with the AD and is active with the Letterman Club.
