It really depends on whether he wants to get back into the game... and away from commenting on it.
He can do the commentator job later in life... he's got a lot of coaching left in him and I suspect he wants to do that.
It's probably less about the money (although he's not taking a pay cut), and more about doing what he wants to do.
That's his choice, whether we offer him or not. He has plenty of takers should he choose to coach. It only makes sense that we, at least, try this time!
