If you are so confident in your source why do you care? My main point is I have my opinion and you have yours. Yet you seem to think yours holds more value than anyone else's.

Yes, you've said that....repeatedly. Care to add anything of value, or do you just plan on continuing to be contrary with no real basis?

Chucky was certainly fired up about it as well as ESPN in general. They talked about it forever after the game, but it was a terrible call backed up by a replay. One of the worse all time in the replay era I guess.

I don't blame them. They are unqualified. They are doing a job they have no buisness doing. I blame the commissioner.

Kind of like our coach...interesting point it is

The idea that Hart has started the process to hire Gruden and fire Dooley is silly. If Dooley wins 7-8 games he will be here next year. This recruiting class is very important, and firing Dooley would cause us to miss out on the big names we are in on. The AD and board want to see what Dooley does when all of the players he has are his. We cant afford the attrition a coaching change would cause right now. That's just my opinion.

You don't think if we were to hire Gruden or another proven coach, that we couldn't salvage the recruiting class, if not make it better?

He won't be back with 7 wins IMO

Shouldn't be back with 8

We can if we hire the right coach.

All, of course, IMO.

Yes....you've said all of that too, including the disclaimer that it's just your opinion. Understood.

All if it has been countered ad nauseum by multiple posters giving reasons why your assertion may be incorrect, including some information by sources closer to the situation than ourselves. I won't bore you with a rehash.

If we're all wrong, and Hart hasn't started a preliminary search, and at least put feelers out he is asleep on the job and guilty of gross dereliction of duty

While I would gladly trade dools for Chuckie. I have no confidence in ut to get that done.
I don't believe this process has begun.
sadly we have to wait till the seasons end and hope we get someone good if Hart makes a move.
I would be happy to be wrong but I think the chances of getting Chuckie is. 01%

A pitiful case you are. :)

Have Hope!

If we have to settle on another mid-major coach, and it's not a proven star on the rise (like Urban at Utah while they were still in the MWC), then, yes, we could experience some attrition that would really hurt.

If we get a big name, then I think we'd have a better chance at closing some of those top recruits. As it stands, our recruiting class is not good enough to compete for an SEC title, IMO. I'm not going to debate the situation Dooley took over and how his recruiting is considered pretty good by a lot of people, given the circumstances. What matters is that the players coming in are, overall, not as good as the players our rivals are getting. A top coach would help change that.

If we go 7-5 and keep Dooley, I will be pleasantly surprised if one of those top RBs end up here.

Putting out feelers is different than what you have said up until this point.

No....having a candidate located, and understanding his level of interest is all I've ever asserted. Having put an emphasis on winning the Georgia game as a condition of continued employment, is also all I've asserted. Those are preliminary steps to making a change.

I must apologize.....I wasn't aware we were exceeding the level of your reading comprehension.
