Jordan Mathews, Ricky Gibson III - where are they?

I think we ought to ease up on Hadden. Sure, he put forth pathetic effort on a couple of tackling opportunities. But he gave up 1 catch for 5 yards, on two attempts. We had others play much, much worse.
Maybe, maybe not. That hip bump was the most pathetic effort I have seen on the field of play.

To be clear, he is also responsible for the 62-yd TD run by Etienne.

And for Hadden, the criticism he receives is as much a cumlination of his entire career as it is the Florida game, specifically. He's one of those guys that erases a good play or a good game with every next decision and bad play he makes. He's never been consistent with his play, and he has a history of making more waves for the things he does after the whistle than those he does before it.

He also gave up a 1st down in the red zone to Pearsall on Shallow because he dropped out of his zone with no awareness of what was happening around him. That's on top of Etienne's TD because he's scared to tackle

Watch again - Walker was far more responsible for that TD than Hadden was.

No he isnt responsible directly good god. Three other players had their shots at Etienne also well before he got to the back side corner. 44 also isn't ready for that task.

Wrong. He gave up a 12 yd completion on the first drive on 3rd down. I don’t care what PFF says. If no one is in your zone you drop back. He didn’t & WR caught it on the sideline. His pitiful effort of tackling gave them a 62 yd TD. Bench his ass & hope he quits.

Unfortunately if they’re not seeing the field I would think it means they’re not ready? Although at this point the corner play has been bad enough that why not rotate them in and give them an opportunity.

Gibson played in first half.

Florida basically shut their offense down in the 2nd half. Stats are somewhat misleading due to that.

That f'ing pathetic shoulder bump allowed a 75 yard TD that completely changed the tenor of the game.

When I played football my coach would have replayed that "film" about 12 times in a row in front of the whole team. Then he would have asked me what the hell I was thinking on that play and did I want to play football anymore. Then we would have gone out to practice and I would be at the end of "the Funnel" and every running back on the team would come through the funnel. I would have to tackle them one at a time until coach was satisfied that I could give better effort than what he saw in the game, that's if he let me play again.

I think the RB breaking through surprised him and he wasn’t ready to tackle. He bumped him forward and then couldn’t catch him. It was a terrible play, but overall he is a good corner. He just runs his mouth a ton and makes an occasional bonehead play. You take his good and hope to limit his bad, this play was pretty bad though

No he wasn’t, walker missed his legs while going at him full speed. Hadden literally chest bumped the receiver and proceeded to watch the him run to the endzone. Hadden needs to be benched, honestly I would’ve left him in Columbia last year.

How do you figure?

They can both be responsible, but any attempt to absolve Hadden of any responsibility is silly. Both can be true, but Hadden was the last line of defense and had the easiest shot on him after Etienne had been slowed down by the other hits he absorbed (Walker's included).
