Should be fun to watch since I live in Chattanooga. Hopefully he can make it to Knoxville. Mccallie is a boarder school and this kid was recruited from another state, most likely. My buddy coaches freshman Ball in Chatty and never heard of him. Therefore, I believe he could go anywhere for college. If he's willing to travel for high school, I'm sure he doesn't mind traveling to North Carolina.

He'll definitely have his options. It'll be a tough get for Bruce & Co.

Is he related to Former Vol BB Jay Price from Chattanooga by chance?

Definitely not...Jay helped coach my team in High School and I still keep in touch with him. He's head coach at Chattanooga State and a bail bondsmen. So, if you ever get arrested in Chatty you can meet him.

Yea, I know Jay real well as he went to Brainerd High where my mom worked there for over 20 years and used to take tickets for the Brainerd Panthers BB games for Coach High. They had some good teams in the past playing for Coach High.

Interesting that we haven't offered him since he is already a 5* player. When players move from school to school, you always wonder about grades.

If he goes to McCallie, I would say grades aren't a problem as McCallie is a school of excellence for grades. Ted Turner among others is a former alumni

I have a friend whos cousin goes to Mcallie as somebody said grades are never bad there and I believe Price plays for the Atlanta Celtics if so it helps our chances since we have so many players from that team.

Can't believe I never heard of this kid before. Hope it's true that Pearl did visit him. It would be sweet to land a 5 * point guard (not named Ramar Smith)

I believe Ware will end up a SG but he will be able to bring the ball up the floor.

I think Ware will technically be a 2G but it will be like playing a PG and a Combo Guard. It will happen because of his height and athleticism and because we are recruiting tons of other PGs and not many SGs.

I agree I think he will have a scotty hopson type of roll.

Other than being listed as a PG by Rivals, what proof do you have of this? He may end up as PG, but I don't know how you could know that for sure.

It's simple. Pearl loves combo-guards at the point. Exit Bobby Maze. Enter Trae Golden. Exit Melvin Goins. Enter Kevin Ware.

Its actually not that simple. What about the other PGs we are recruiting in 2011? Jones, Lacey, Johnson, etc?

If Ware was a PG for us and we landed one more of those guys, we'd have three PGs and one SG (a former walk-on in McBee). That doesn't seem to logical and "simple" to me.
