but everyone is not the same, this kid could have been done with puberty in 7th grade for all we know, on my bball team im not a very good shooter but my coach has told me im a late bloomer and that i haven't gotten all my skills yet and my coach has played with some really good players in his life and played for ETSU when they were 9th in the nation, so ill take his word over yours.:good!:
Really? What's your coaches name? My cousin Loren Riddick played on that team.

Pearl better not miss on this in-state phenom.

Or what? :)

5* shooting guards are hard to get, even if they are recruited from the 3rd grade. (like Gillispie) They have so many options, its hard to pitch the "state your from" case anymore. Unfortunately its more about what have you done for me lately, and what can you do for me later.

Eh not too impressed with this kid.. saw him play a couple of times and I think averaged like 15 points a game this year against weak competition.

According to scout, he has offers from GA, GA Tech, and Michigan. Receiving interest from UK and UT, but neither have offered as of yet. Which I find strange...perhaps its not updated.

Will have to improve a TON to get an offer like I said he is a good athlete and I actually think he would be a better WR than bball player

Played against him at the real deal in the rock a couple weeks ago he isn't very impressive, has a nice shot if left open but doesn't like physical contact... IMO we still need to get him by the time the 2012 class rolls around.

If he goes to McCallie, I would say grades aren't a problem as McCallie is a school of excellence for grades. Ted Turner among others is a former alumni

As is Pooch...

The majority of students at McCallie are day students. Don't know about this kid yet, but I will soon!

If he doesn't like contact, Florida will be the school for him.

Surprising he doesn't bust arse if Dan Wadley is still the coach. He came up @ TTemple and they made their living playing bust it- in your face scrappy D and smart, crafty O. Went to the finals numerous times with FAR, and I mean FAR inferior talent. McCallie and the Private Insts are a different monstah tho. Who knows. I do know this, kids got a lot of work to do.

I am not arguing that Wadley is not an excellent coach because he is. But the years that Temple owned Single-A basketball they did not have FAR inferior talent. The Skogen kids were exceptional talent. And they had other talented kids as well. They beat a few West TN teams during those years at the State Tourney that had a little more talent than them. But not a whole lot.
