Jose Bautista now has 15 home runs

But its a fair enough starting point. I'm unsure what the deal is, but I dont have an impossible time presuming innocence at this point.

I agree 100%.

He just made it sound as if it's proof the guy didn't shoot up and it's not.

You're right though, it's a good starting point and the most obvious.

It doesn't make you a better hitter. It just turns pop flies into home runs. Lots of guys hit balls to the warning track and do it every other games. Those turn into home runs. Hence jumping from 15 to 50.

Again, it's not impossible. But come on... after all the steroid talk and letting Bonds get away with steroids, people are just going to write off home runs for Jose Bautista? The guy that did nothing until he was 30 years old. Bonds was athletic all around and had a high batting average.

You can make all the excuses you want for some guy that came out of nowhere playing on a crappy team. If this were a hall of fame caliber player, people would be all over him for turning into a power hitter.

Neither did Nelson Cruz. Steroids?

Here are his GB/FB ratios in each season he has played so far:

2004-0.81
2005-0.91
2006-0.67
2007-0.67
2008-0.85
2009-0.70
2010-0.46
2011-0.42

That may be helping him. Just sayin'. Steroids don't make you hit more fly balls.

So now steroids help turn fly balls into 400+ foot bombs. I don't have the data now, but he hits the farthest and hardest HRs in MLB.

Everything points to a swing change and a new hitting mentality. He has only 3 oppo bombs in his career. Trying to hit everything on the inner half with a slight uppercut will lead to a big increase in HRs if you have quick hands and good pitch recognition, which Jose does.

What the heck else would turn fly balls into bombs?

Are you serious with this? Is it really that hard to understand? Wow.

You be the judge.

To me, there's almost no difference. His forearms look slightly larger as a Blue Jay, but that type of change can easily be achieved without roids.

Looks different to me.. Defiantly roiding.

5 Homers in target field this past weekend.

The Twinkies have 6 at home all season.

He looks EXACTLY THE SAME AS HE ALWAYS HAS. Dude made an adjustment to his swing and he plays consistently now. He's not juicing.

McGuire was huge the day he stepped into Oakland (although he got bigger.) Kids start juicing early. I'm not passing any judgement, I'm just saying.

HAHAHA. You typed "dong". I LOVE auto-correct!

A guy hitting home runs like he is with his track record is suspicious.

That's me.

You dong think so, fine.

I have every right to think you are outta your mind.
