Josh Malone or Marquez North

North will probably have more catches, yards, and TD's than Malone. Mainly due to experience and the type of receiver. I see Malone having a Justin Hunter type freshman year. Running a lot of deep routes and showing flashes. I could see him having more big plays. However, our most consistent receiver that we will go to on 3rd downs and in the redzone will be North.

North. Malone will get on some highlight reels but North is the #1 this year.

North on experience alone, Josh will rely a lot on his athletic ability much like Justin Hunter did in his first year as a Vol.

I remember before the 2012 season, there was a picture of CP, Bray, Hunter and Da'Rick (before his booting off). And I remember being so excited about the prospects of what that offense would do.

I feel like if you took a picture of Lane,Hurd, North, Malone, and LP, I'd probably get just as excited.

Are we missing a QB of Bray status? Yes. But the thing is, if you have QB's that can put it close to where it needs to be, a good WR will make the play. There are many a play that are made in spite of the QB, not because of him.

I think we will have a great offense this year. And I think that not just LP, North, and Malone will make an impact, but I think Josh Smith will be better, Jonathan Johnson will be better, Vic Wharton will make an impact, Pig hopefully will be coming back. There's going to be a lot of playmakers in this offense this year. Just need someone to take the QB job and command the offense. The other great thing about having two solid TE's and so many good WR's is that HOPEFULLY, it will keep defenses from bringing crazy blitzes, which will be good with such a young OL.

I'm excited about this offense this year. And I am getting excited about the defense, but I think the excitement on defense will explode once these freshman get here on campus in the fall. When we start hearing about Hendrix, and Kelly Jr. and Berry twins, and Chris Weatherd, and Bates....then we'll really start feeling better about our season.

It's going to be nice to have multiple weapons on offense this year. No matter who the QB is they can't help but do better.

Everyone expects North, Pearson and Malone to be our 3 best WR's but with so much talent on our WR corps now I think when the games start that 1 or 2 others will jump up and really surprise all of us with the breakout season they're going to have.

I also believe that 1 of our TE's is going to show out and make a name for himself as well.

The other teams will have to pick their poison but I don't think anyone will be able to cover all our weapons at the same time consistently.

I also think somebody is going to surprise us at the RB position too other than just the 2 RB's we most expect to show out.

This is just the begining of our young team getting experience and knowledge to become a great team and in 2 or 3 more years everyone is again going to fear having to play Tennessee!

I said this when we signed North, and it holds true for Malone as well: If CBJ and CZA earn their paychecks, they will both be taken in the first two rounds.

north is the man....Malone and Pearson will be great 2nd options, but north has proven if you can just put the ball in his area, he'll snag it. Strong strong hands.....

I don’t know who will have the most yards or TDs. I do believe that whichever QB is throwing, he will be effective enough because the WRs WANT the ball and they’re going after it like rabid hyenas.

Here is how it all unfolds. When The Butch inserts the block demolition M243 C4 (North, Malone, Pearson, and Croom), the big bang will occur again and again. Yea, the first bellow of anguish will be heard from the boisterous Kentucky flavored bovines from the Holy Mormon Empire.

Next, a pack of ravenous wolves will be scattered by the boom that spells their doom, leaving Neyland in a dark shrouded gloom. In this case, the packaged labeled C4 will be laced with plutonium gel and cesium-137 powder. For two quarters this radioactive compound will confound and pound the canine cult. Then The Butch will give the game over to the nitroglycerine gnats (J. Smith, J. Carter, C. Blanc, and D. Young) who will finish the canine killing that is already begun.

Oklahoma will determine to what degree is the big bang big and if the boom is a boomer or a bust. From thence history will commence.
