Even the announcers were losing it over the clear balks. I don't care if it is hard for lefty's to not balk. They dont get special treatment.

It was brutal. 100% it was a balk and that 1B umpire should be suspended. I’d say that if it was a UT pitcher as it was egregious

That is a very off base statement. He became the first college coach to go direct to a MLB manager role. Who would pass that up?

Agreed, I have no business as a college baseball coach nor do I aspire to be, at no point in this have I ever claimed to be. Just stated what I thought would send a message to our team. My stance hasn't changed even after today's glorious victory, I hope we continue to ride the path that got us to today no matter how we get there. As always...GBO

Tony did things like that early but even he settled down a lot after the 2022 season. He realized the SEC umpires had little respect for that. Josh should be Josh. If he fails then he has no 2nd guessing himself.

Yep. That little “run in” with Jeff Macias kinda focused a spotlight on Tony and the program. I hope that Josh can get ahead of that preconception.
