Brent Hubbs said the commitment put a smile on Dave Clawson's face Wednesday evening. Fail.

Nunes throwing to Stokes and possibly Marlon Brown, with Giles in the backfield along with possibly Oku... that is just sick.

he committed and has never been to knoxville. i found that amazing. however i was a die hard UT fan and it took 14 years for me to make it to my first game so i wont knock him. We are pretty amazing:)

This is awesome, a couple more lineman and Marlon Brown and we should be set on offense. The defensive staff needs to get the ball rollin.

You've got to be freaking kidding me!! I love it!!!!! I just got back from watching the Red Sox squeak one out at Fenway (which was awesome)...and this is that x 10! Awesome.

I don't care what some others say...I'll definitely take another Cali QB.

i dunno if i can sleep tonight with that kind of news. NOW lets see who rolls in for committments. we get him je'ron and giles on the phone we may stack up quick. something good is in orange koolaide right now. Whoever made this batch should keep it up. Wow im just stunned like someone said this is so out of left field. He has a high GPA and 29 ACT it said. no wonder him and clawson jived so well. seems like we will have allot of brains running our offense the next couple of years. And hes not lacking in abuilty either. Ok Im gone!

Just watched his highlight reel. There were some throws to wide open receivers, as there usually are on these things. However, there were also some really good throws where he threw a completion to a guy that was well covered. So he seems to be pretty accurate. He's also able to launch the ball even when rolling to his left (he's a righty). He does a good job throwing a deep ball and letting his receiver burn the DB to get underneath it. That'll come in handy with the kind of receivers we'll have the next few years. One thing that concerns me a bit is that it looks like on most of these highlights that he's throwing to his first receiver. So you don't get a great idea of how he goes through his progressions. I could be wrong on that one, because it's sort of hard to tell exactly what he's doing on the small video. Anyway, I think a lot of high school QBs mainly are taught to only look at one or two guys and then scramble as their third option. So I'm sure he'll learn to progress wants he gets to UT, if he hasn't already. Apparently he's a bright kid (good GPA and ACT).

The Nunes commitment and Cheek rumor are just what I need right now. Thanks, all!
