I have no doubt that UT Football will end up with a quality QB.
The hills are harder to climb for UT Basketball - far less winning tradition to sell.

If we had another PG locked up, I wouldn't feel so bad about losing this guy. I'm just concerned over the current negative momentum of this program. It has been a long time since we took a commitment, and this is a crucial class. It is only July though.

I don't know why everyone is so upset. This just opens a scholarship for Tanning Bed to sign the next Marques Johnson or Bobby Maze.

Don't know if this has been posted or not, but a friend of mine who works for Athlon says Selby's mom was quoted as having talked to World Wide Wes at the LeBron Skills camp. "No relationship. We talked a little."

He's going to Kentucky kids.

Buddy of mine who works in sports radio around Memphis says the word today from their Memphis sources is that he is most likely headed to UK or Oregon courtesy of Worldwide Wes....TIFWIW, but the guy is usually pretty solid on his stuff.

Because some people actually look beyond the current year to judge where a program is headed. Just like the football program after the 2001 season...There are red flags everywhere.

I agree. Obviously you don't want to lose a player of Selby's caliber, but I think if we get the Wisconsin decommittee, he might be a good find for us since we certainly have not had fundamentally sound pg play since CJ left.
