Josh Selby Update

Are you people still wasting time talking about Selby? Let me make this perfectly clear for you:

Selby. Is. Going. To. Kentucky.

What, you think, "oh no, he won't go there, they just signed Brandon Knight."

And that means, what, exactly? Do you seriously think John Calipari won't sign Selby just because he has Knight? Second, don't you think Selby and Knight would dominate as dual point guards running the dribble-drive offense. Uh, that would be a "yes".

So, you know, keep dreaming if you want, if it's good for your psyche. But understand your place. When a Kentucky or a Notre Dame or a Kansas wants one of your recruiting targets, you are D.O.N.E. DONE.

Thanks for the heads up.

Honestly, I'm just happy we didn't have to compete with Hawaii for any of our recruits. I remember you exaplaining how futile that would've been for us.

I think Selby is actually going to forgo the rest of his basketball career and become a coach. He will, of course, take the best job in the country, which we all know is Boston College.

Yup, I have heard they have an awesome aerial view of the campus from an airplane that is driving recruits wild

I think this is MikeHamiltonFan's other personality. In a bit he will be telling us that the SEC is better than the NBA Western Conference.

Didn't UK want Tobias badly as well? Or Hopson?

Obviously not, because recruits don't turn down Kentucky, Kansas or Notre Dame.

In fact, the last prospect to have all three schools involved in his recruitment was tragically killed when each school's gravitational pull took hold of a different limb. The only thing that saved him from being quartered was the absence of an offer from Detroit Mercy. May he rest in peace.

Yea, especially Notre Dame. When they want a kid, all other schools may as well just stop recruiting them. They usually have the #1 recruiting class every year. I'm really glad none of the schools wanted Harris. UT can only get left overs that no other school really wants. We've really done a good job and have seriously out-coached most everyone since we have no ability to recruit with the schools you mention.

Confirmed: Selby wont be at UT... I asked someone veryyyyyyyy close to him. :(

Really because I know a 2013 watch list prospect that roomed with Selby at a basketball camp.(This prospect is all vol by the way) and the texted Selby and said you have to come to UT and Selby's reply was ;)

Really now....

The Notre Dame fluffer is right about one thing. If you are recruiting the same players as Notre Dame, you're done. That's because you are recruiting awful players.
