Wow, When you can't support the best coach to come through here in 40 years and has shown he is one of the top two or three in the conference since he has been here. Wow, It really just shows that you can't please everybody.

Besides his speech, what makes Crawford a thug? His high school is in area where it would be a miracle just to go to college! You sound ignorant to judge a young man solely on speech but the football team has three convicted drunk driving killers in its history. Get a clue and a life! Go Vols Football but this is still a Memphis Die Hard Basketball fan! I am an alumni of UT and still love both!

I am from Memphis and Sheffield high school really isn't that bad. I am just going by what I heard at his press conference and that is a young man whos grammar rivaled that of a 5th grader. Now, I understand that kids slip through the cracks and maybe he did, but that doesn't change the fact of how he sounded. Wow, you are going to talk about history of athletes and Tennessee and you are a Memphis fan. I don't have to go back very far to find that Jeremy Hunt beat his girlfriend numerous times and was still allowed to play. Please don't come in here trying to back the reputation (off the court) of Memphis Basketball.

I am good friends with a former principal and the youth minster across the street from the school. You must be from Olive Branch or Germantown because Hickory Hill area has been crime infested for the past 10 years including the Knight Arnold area. How did Elliot Perry of Penny sound? The same way and don't forget Keith Lee! Travis Henry raped girls and still played learn your facts and know what you saw and not heard! I may be from the surburbs but I know because I witness first hand so go back to Fox News clown!

I have actually been to Sheffield, to watch when Randy Culpepper (now at UTEP) played a few years ago and honestly, it wasn't that bad. Hell, Germantown's gym doesnt even have air conditioning, so can't be that much difference. And yes, I have met Penny, I used to live down the street from him and is a very soft spoken intelligent individual. Travis Henry got in all his trouble after he left Knoxville so that isn't even a knock on TENN. I will leave the name calling to the typical Memphis fan since thats what it seems you are.

Where u with Penny and Lamarcus Golden when he was shot in the foot from the drug deal gone wrong? Majority of black collegiate athletes do not have good diction but that don't make them a thug. What old school gym has AC? I knew you were a clown and yea I am a tiger B ball fan but ut Fball is my love too. Being from Memphis we all are Tiger Bball die hards but Fball is another story. I love UT Fball!

I was a fan after kirk jacked up everything, I was a fan during the tic price era and still a die hard even when have 2 legitmate frontcourt players! I love Memphis Bball as much as I love UT Fball, you still a clown! Selby ain't coming for those looking for selby comments and info!

You still a jerk but you just mad cause Vols can't get recruits of Memphis. Memphis is its own state! That why it is always independent and confusing but I have MAD love for my city!!!!

Who cares about not being able to get Memphis recruits, we still beat yall in 2008 with the best team you will probably ever have so believe me, not worried.
