Every coach has there moments where they seem like they are the greatest coach to their fan base. I could see why some would think Pearl was great when he took the same players Buzz had been losing with and made them into contenders. But it is no different than situations such as Matt Doherty winning with Bill Guthridge's players.

Most here agree that Pearl is a better coach than Peterson. That isn't saying much about Pearl though.

The "we" that post negative comments on message boards that she says she reads? Just a thought for all you "concerned" fans to mull; who needs to recruit a kid to KY when TN's fans can tell you why your son shouldn't go to TN. You're all doing a really, really fine job....

Come on man, we are critical because some of us played in HS, College, coached at some level...whatever the case and we are thoroughly disappointed in our hustle, the "flukes" offense, and our sporadic displays of "Ole!" defense. I would bet coaches have 100% more pull in recruiting than message board posters. Just because we don't always get on our knees for Bruce doesn't mean we don't fully support UT basketball
