I was thinking the same thing watching him in the game, seems aerospace studies do not translate well to football. I sure hope Ferguson is better, but I will cut Dobbs a little slack on 2 throws that should have been caught other than that I don't know.

Same thing here, I'm not ready to throw in the towel on him, but two really bad picks, a 20 yd sack, you just have to throw the ball away sometimes. Feeling very low as a vol fan right now.

Wasn't Dobbs a High 3 star / low 4 star recruit?
He needs to be shown that he isn't in High School anymore and he just can't run over these guys like he did in high school.
Worley needs to pull his head out and start showing these young guys how to manage the game.

That was one of the hardest games I have ever had to watch. I still can't understand why Marlin Lane is not the feature back... miserable qb play, we can't complete a pass on Vandy's 2nd and 3rd team.

Vandy beats us with players we didn't want.

Exactly! True freshmen are much more prepared nowadays, with all the clinics and camps. Is Dobbs really going to improve enough to win 10 games a year? Probably not. Can we trade for Mauck?
